Clip Licensing

Now, for the first time in history, every episode and segment from the 30 years of Johnny Carson's unprecedented Late Night run is available for license to the entertainment and broadcast industry. The entire Carson Library of television history has been painstakingly catalogued, transcribed, and preserved in pristine condition and displayed in a dynamic online, searchable format.

If you are in the entertainment and broadcast industry, just follow the simple registration process and we'll grant you complete access to the entire Johnny Carson Late Night library. The portal allows for quick and advanced searches, edits, and the creation of a customized folder for each licensee. We can then deliver Classic Carson Content to you or your production company in virtually any format, on any budget, and on any schedule.

All clip requests will be reviewed for approval. We reserve the right to deny a request due to the content of the footage requested or the context in which it will be used. When a request has been approved, the requesting party will be contacted to quote the appropriate license fees for the rights requested and to confirm any information necessary. At that time a license agreement will be sent to the appropriate person for counter-execution along with an invoice for the license fees and transfer costs. Use our searchable database to find the episode or guest you are looking for.
